Let's look at what Pastor Martin Powell had to say about chapter 5 entitled "The Bank of God - Our Bank Account" in his book, Money Matters: in My Kingdom.
"The scriptures show us that God has a different view of our finances than we have. We may think we are rich, but the truth could be that we are poor, and vice-versa." In Revelations 2:9 and 3:17 these passages suggest that the earthly view of our bank accounts may not be our correct financial position.
Paul suggest that we indeed have an account. (Philippians 4:15) "... I seek the fruit that abounds to your account." Paul is saying that because the Philippians gave to him, there is a natural response to the giving - fruit which abounds to their accounts.
Jesus talked about laying up treasure in heaven and not on earth, and where your treasure is, there you heart will be also. (Matthew 6:19)
Jesus gives a clear answer to let us know how to actually get treasure in our account in heaven, "Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." ( Luke 6:38) We see as we give it will be given back to us. It's a spiritual Law set in order to prosper us when we give.
This leaves no room for greed in this law. A greedy man can not give in faith. It's backed up in this verse, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers." (3 John 1,2) As the child of God learns to give, the child of God prospers. This prosperity comes in proportion to one's spiritual maturity.
Jesus told the rich man to give his money away because he had no money in his account in heaven. In fact he had lack! "So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, 'You still lack one things. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.' But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, 'How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!" (Luke 18:22-24)
The rich man was wealthy in the physical earth realm but he was not spiritually prosperous. It is better to be both!
Jesus said in (Luke 18:28-30) that his followers would receive our rewards in this present time and in the age to come eternal life. Do you see? To increase the money in our heavenly account we have to give it away. Also if we sow sparingly we shall also reap sparingly, if we sow bountifully, we shall reap bountifully. 2 Corinthians.9:6
If we only want to reap enough for our needs this is a selfish response. We reap bountifully so we have sufficiency to meet every good work for the kingdom. We work for God and dispense His wealth where it is needed. We also get to enjoy the benefits of this prosperity (Ecclesiastes 5:18,19) "...As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God"
These are awesome insights from Pastor Martin Powell.

Last week we talked about metaverses and the rapidly expanding market that they have created all over the global.
This week we’re diving a little deeper int one of the main driving forces behind metaverses' growth: Play2Earn.
Play2Earn is not a new concept. If browser through the thousands of mobile apps in Apple's App Store or Google Play, you’ll find countless games and utilities that are already designed to attract users of every kind by offering rewards for interacting and accomplishing tasks within the app.
In the simplest of terms, play-to-earn refers to the idea of gaming in which a platform creates the ability for its user to earn game specific assets that can be converted into real world value.
For the longest time, the rewards were merely bragging rights, leveling-up or getting discounts for other products, but with the invention of Cryptocurrency, rewards have shifted towards native coins and tokens that allow users to buy and sell “stuff”. And when I say stuff, I mean NFTs specifically.
But what’s more important is that these coins and tokens, can not only be used to buys and sell in-app, they also are fungible! Meaning, they can be traded on exchanges for other coins and tokens, and even converter into fiat!
"It effectively gives players a chance to generate revenues by participating in games. Players create value for other gamers and developers by engaging in the in-game ecosystem and earn assets for their contributions. These digital assets might range from."
Global impact of lock-downs due to governments response to the virus, have only served to boosted this market. According to one estimate, people in the Philippines are earning $1,500-$2,000 a month just by playing Axie Infinity as a hobby. Over in Vietnam some are making enough to quit their jobs and make a living gaming full-time!
(I’d better not tell my kids about this! I’d never hear the end of it. “Why do we have to do school?! I can get rich playing games,” they'd say.)
According to CoinMarketCap.com, The NFT market has already surpassed $2.5 billion in sales in 2021 and this number is set to grow exponentially as new NFT games flood the market. That’s a lot of money already! But with the new metaverses constantly being added to the markets, combined with more and more NFT games, this market will have no problem seeing 10x or even 100x of its current numbers.
Tribe, we’re watching the transference of wealth happening right before our eyes. It’s just a trickle at this point, but its energy is swiftly growing into a massive wave, and there's crazy money getting pour into this new digital frontier!
For those with eyes focused above the sun, it’s time to start asking Yahweh, what’s our part play in all this?

Need an umbrella?: "A few years back, I was in NYC for meetings. All of a sudden, it started to pour, absolutely Miami style rain. Miraculously, an umbrella vendor popped out of nowhere (I’ve never understood how this works, but it is crazy how fast they can show up)." Boston C! is thinking about how Yahweh is bringing new energy and the Energy Beings that carry the frequency of it all! Snoop the scoop!
